Secretary/Treasurer Jeanne Solis Jeanne Solis is a resident of Lafayette, LA, and a native of suburban Chicago, IL. Solis served as the CEO and Executive Director of the Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center from 1996-2008. Her prior career experience spanned 15 years in non-profit and private business as a Programs Director, Special Projects Coordinator and Account Executive. Solis is a rental properties owner/manager and a freelance photo-journalist. She currently serves as a consultant to Walsh Development LLC. Solis has served on the Boards of numerous professional and civic organizations, and is a founding Board member and officer for Louisiana Emergency Medical Units (LEMU). She serves as a volunteer tutor for the VITA (Volunteer Instructors Training Adults) ESL literacy program, a member of the Leadership Lafayette Curriculum Committee for the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Lafayette Convention & Visitors Commission. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Middle Tennessee State University, and obtained American Management Association certification through UL-Lafayette Continuing Education. She is the recipient of a 2003 Lafayette “Women of Excellence” award, and the proud parent of Erin Daigle, an LSU senior.
