Bobby Cormier serves as the Constituent Services Coordinator and Assistant to Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel. Cormier is a lifelong native of Lafayette, and worked in the private sector before being appointed by Durel when he took office.
In addition to his daily duties, Cormier also serves as President Durel's liasion to the Lafayette Crime Prevention Committee.
Cormier spent many years as a volunteer coach in Lafayette youths sports, and most recently was an assistant basketball coach at his alma mater, Our Lady of Fatima.
He and his wife Charmaine are the proud parents of Heather Smith and Lance Cormier, and have two grandchildren, L.J. and Addison.
